You should not however despair in anyway if youre black skinned. There is always a cure to all your acne problems. There are actually so much acne treatments for black skin for you to choose from and fight that unwanted skin problem. In fact, there is almost no difference at all on acne treatments for black skin or white skin. You can even prepare one by yourself! Or, you can just buy a remedy right on the nearest store! In case you have an extreme acne problem, you are advised to consult your doctor as soon as possible. Your doctor should have one acne treatment for black skin that will truly exterminate that unwanted acne.

Other ingredients you may see in acne medications include resorcinol and sulphur. Resorcinol causes the top layer of skin to peel -- including the dead skin cells which clog the pores. It is often combined with sulphur. It is not known how sulphur affects acne conditions, but it has been used effectively for more than 50 years. Sulphur is often combined with other ingredients besides resorcinol like salicylate acid and benzoyl peroxide. It is not usually used by itself because of its strong, unpleasant odor.

Other side effects include stinging, burning, redness, peeling, scaling or discoloration of the skin. Similarly some prescription oral medicines can have side effects such as increased tendency to sunburn, upset stomach, dizziness or light-headedness & changes in skin color. Also some drugs decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills making it necessary to use a backup birth control method.

Acne isn't really helped by the sun, either. Although a suntan can temporarily make acne look less severe, it won't help it go away permanently. So don't soak up those rays - either under the sun or from a tanning bed - in an effort to help your skin.

Let's face it. Picking, squeezing, scratching, digging, and popping zits is irresistible. (Sometimes even fun if it's a juicy pus-filled whitehead). But performing acne surgery with your own fingers is going to lead to infection or permanent scars.
